Description:

This operation envisages the construction of a circular pool on the site of a pre-existing dance floor. The form and type of the intervention are dictated by the pre-existing shapes of three staircases, two of which descend from a bridge which connects to the Hotel Merinum as can be seen from the attached planes. Moreover, we have an embankment protected by a surrounding wall with flower beds on the border of the property and by a low containing wall in the area adjacent to the dance floor.

 

Method of operation:

The operation foresees the placing of the pool and of the adjacent access areas of the same, above the present ground level, lower by 40 cm in respect of the survey zero ( as shown in the graphic elaboration ) and raised to 1.10 meters in respect of this to obtain a depth of 1,5 meters in the pool. All around, in addition to the laying of a circular paving to serve the pool, steps have been built in order to reach the level of access to the pool.

 

Overall, the substance of this intervention has the aim of improving, thanks to the introduction of the new service, the offer of the receptive tourist facility of the Hotel Merinum.

 

The theme which was developed is the drawing of a big horizontal moulding around the hole of the pool that maintains the memory of architectural language. This moulding works also as a hinge between two axes defined by two blocks of building, one of which is Hotel Merinum. Inside a part of this enormous moulding, is engraved a verse of poetry.

 

 

L'intervento prevede la costruzione di una piscina circolare sulla preesistente pista da ballo nella zona d'intervento. La forma e tipologia dell'intervento è circoscritta dalle forme pre-esistenti consistenti in tre rampe di scale, di cui due provenienti da un ponte in collegamento con l’hotel Merinum come è visibile dagli elaborati allegati e da un terrapieno vincolato da muro di cinta con fioriera nel confine della proprietà e da piccolo muro di contenimento nella parte adiacente la pista.

 
Modi dell’intervento
L'intervento prevede la posa della piscina, e delle zone adiacenti di acceso alla medesima, sopra il livello di terreno attuale abbassandosi di 40 cm rispetto allo zero di rilievo ( come negli elaborati grafici ) e alzandosi di 1,10 m rispetto a questo per avere una profondità della piscina di 1,5m. Intorno, oltre alla posa di una pavimentazione circolare necessaria alla piscina, vengono operati dei tagli e dei rilievi affinchè si possa raggiungere le quote del piano d’accesso alla piscina.

Nel complesso si tratta sostanzialmente di un intervento teso a riqualificare la possibilità, attraverso l’introduzione di un uovo servizio, di offerta della struttura turistico ricettiva dell’Hotel Merinum
